General Squad Information
The squad can be joined at any time during the year, however enrolments are per quarter (3 month period). Depending on the swimmer’s squad level, multiple sessions are offered both in the mornings and afternoons.
In addition to building fitness and refining the swimmer’s stroke technique, we also provide a swimming club to further the swimmer’s skills in racing, including marshalling, starting and turning. During the swimming seasons the club also provides a qualified referee and starter at club nights to help with swimmers refinement of the racing rules.
For more information please check the Club Noticeboard or ask the receptionist to point you in the direction of one of the helpful swimming club parents.
The process to join the squad is:
- Either email email@example.com with a brief outline of your child’s swimming history or contact the office on (02) 4646 1699 and the receptionist will organise an assessment (suitable for both the coach and yourself).
- During the assessment the coach with discuss with you the relevant points from your email and advise you on the squad levels and sessions that would best suit your child and their needs.
- Arrangements can be made at this time to organise a trial in the suggested squad level.
- After the assessment one of the receptionists will explain the fee structure and timetable.
